Welcome

Welcome to our little piece of paradise!

Casa Linda is our beautiful home in Playa Grande, on the North Pacific coast of Costa Rica. It is a modern, fully furnished 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bathroom home located in the gated community of Las Ventanas. Nestled in the quiet hills overlooking Las Baulas National Park, imp-14oct-48Casa Linda is surrounded by peaceful lush nature. The house is built in a modern and wide open style, designed to take advantage of the natural environment and gorgeous views.

The tropical hills around the house host an incredible variety of plants and animals. Colorful iguanas and birds are everywhere, and howler monkeys often make their way into the property’s trees in the early morning and at dusk.

While the location of the house makes it an oasis of privacy and peace, it is an easy 10 minute walk to the restaurants and surf shops of Playa Grande. A little further south, on the other side of the estuary, imp-01aout--216-20160708lies the bustling town of Tamarindo, with an abundance of shopping, dining and partying possibilities.

Playa Grande is a part of Las Baulas National Park, a protected area in Costa Rica where the world’s largest leatherback turtles nest every year. The region is known for world class surfing, and some of the richest fauna and flora on the planet. The beautiful white sand beach stretches for miles, ideal for long sunset walks or early morning runs. Because of the proximity of the national park, Playa Grande is sparsely developed, making it extremely quiet, private and peaceful.

The entire Nicoya Peninsula extends to the south, with its amazing nature, surfing spots, gorgeous white sand beaches and wildlife. In addition, the major volcano and cloud forest sites of Costa Rica are only a couple of hours inland.

There are hundreds of available activities, including fishing, horseback riding, zip lining, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, diving, snorkeling, sunset sailing trips and more. The nearby population centers provide convenient access to shopping, restaurants, cafés and other services, and it’s a quick 45 minute drive to Liberia international airport.
